What will it cost, and will it be smooth?

    Many plasterers only name an amount once they have been to your home. Until then you cannot plan or compare anything.

  • More gets added afterwards

    Masking, priming or materials are not in the quote, but they are on the bill.

  • Dust and grit in the house

    Plastering is wet and messy work. You do not want a mess afterwards that you have to clean up yourself.

  • Smooth, until the paint goes on

    We come by, look at the walls and ceilings and measure up. Then you get the price, before we start.

    You can paint or wallpaper

    We plaster what is in the quote, paint-ready or wallpaper-ready. Once it is dry, the wall is ready for paint or wallpaper.

You see a wall every day

You have plastering done once. If it is not smooth, you see it every morning when the light falls along the wall. A coat of paint shows the bumps even more.

This is how it should look.

You run the roller over the wall and the paint goes on smoothly. The wallpaper hangs without a seam showing through. In the attic, the sloping ceiling runs into the wall without a kink.

And you saw the price per m² before anyone came in.

What does plastering cost per m²?
Per m²: Smooth plastering €19 to €26, thin-coat plastering €11 to €15, cement plastering €30 to €56, painting €14 to €18. Prices excl. VAT, including materials. You get the exact price after the site visit. All prices, what is included and a worked example are on the prices page.
What is the difference between paint-ready and wallpaper-ready?
Paint-ready is the smoothest finish: once it is dry, you can paint it. Wallpaper-ready is slightly less smooth, good enough to hang wallpaper on.
How long does plaster need to dry before I can paint?
That differs per job: a thick coat or a room with poor ventilation dries more slowly. Feel free to ask us.
Do you also plaster ceilings and sloping ceilings?
Yes. We plaster ceilings, including the sloping ceiling in the attic. You can see a few in the photos above.
Do you also do cement plastering?
Yes, from €30 per m², excl. VAT, including materials. We discuss what you want to use it for during the site visit.
